Vera Foster
Vera Foster grew up in the town of Mesa, Colorado and went to Mesa College in Grand Junction. She taught home economics for several years.
Vera Mulder
Vera Mulder has been doing art in one form or another since grade school. Upon earning her BA in Liberal arts, she has continued her explorations in the arts, starting art programs at various schools, working at what was Mesa State College, teaching methods of teaching art for teachers, Design 10, and giving classes at the Art Center as well.
Verda Morton
Verda was born in Lafayette, CO in 1914. She married Earl Morton.
Vern A. Meek
According to oral history interviewee Fred Joseph Simpson, Meek was a farmer in Appleton who had a good piece of land about one-half mile from the Appleton School. On it, Meek at first raised a variety of crops, including strawberries, which Simpson helped harvest when he was a young man in the early Twentieth century. Later, Meek went to work for the Holly Sugar Factory in Grand Junction. By then, he was raising only sugar beets on his property.
