- David "Dewey" Miracle
- Dewey Miracle lived at Miracle Ranch on Glade Park, Colorado. He moved to the area from Kentucky in 1921 with his wife, Rachel China Miracle, and their children. According to Cordelia (Hamilton) Files, he was blind and had three children who were also blind. The children’s teacher, Cordelia (Hamilton) Files, encouraged David and his wife to send their children to the Colorado School for the Blind in Colorado Springs. As a result, both daughters learned braille and were able to have working lives as a receptionist. Their son, Virgil Miracle, became a piano tuner.
