Gerry White
Albert Gerhard "Gerry" White was a founding father of Vail. After earning a BA in American literature and history from Williams College in 1962, White married his high school sweetheart, Elaine Endres. Gerry and Elaine White subsequently moved to Vail in 1963. They worked various jobs and eventually built the Rams Horn Lodge. Both Whites had foundational roles in the community and several Eagle County organizations. After White incurred a traumatic brain injury, the couple divorced. Elaine White eventually married Art Kelton. The Whites were blessed with 3 daughters.
