: Jack Manning; Neighbor of Andrew Riddle and owner of 120 acres of land in Paradox Valley, Colorado. He was an intelligent fellow who was born in Ireland and loved to drink whiskey. While in Ireland, he was attacked by a priest with a bullwhip, fought back, and ended up bludgeoning the priest to death with the handle of that very same whip. So he fled Ireland and ended up mining and ranching in Paradox Valley.
