Jane Gregorius - SAWLP Board Member
Jane Farley Gregorius was born on 30 September 1944 in Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska to Patricia Herrod and James Gregorius. After being named valedictorian of her Saint Bonaventure High School class in Columbus, Gregorius earned a B.S. in Education from the University of Nebraska. While earning her M.F.A. in Printmaking from California State University – Long Beach, Gregorius taught art in the Watts area of Los Angeles. Gregorius proceeded to teach silkscreen printing at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, California for twenty-five years. In addition to serving as Assistant Director for Summervail Art Workshop, Jane Gregorius also taught printmaking during the program. While serving as Continuing Education Representative for Colorado Mountain College, she taught "Critical Studies" in the art program. Gregorius currently serves as a board member for the Summervail Art Workshop Legacy Project. She also serves on the board of the Yuma Symposium in Yuma, Arizona and serves as a curator at the Pajaro Valley Gallery in Watsonville, California. In her spare time, Gregorius enjoys hiking and making art.
