Born November 19, 1939 in San Pablo, Colorado. Father: Bernardo Archuleta. Mother: Frances (Vigil) Archuleta. Siblings: Ronald Archuleta, Albert Archuleta, Elmer Archuleta, Bob Archuleta, Julie Polasek. Attended San Pablo Public School, Green River Public Schools. Graduated May 1958.
Jean Harris
A madam who, with her sister May Harris, ran a brothel near the intersection of 6th Street and South Avenue in Grand Junction.
Jean Margaret (Look) Comiskey
She was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. She attended Grand Junction High School, where she belonged to the Tennis Club, Dramatic Club, Girl Reserve, Tri-S honor society, Quill and Scroll, Prom committee, Ski Club, Art Club, the Annual staff, Language Club, and the Girls’ League. She interned under her father in the advertising department at the Daily Sentinel in the 1940’s. After attending college, she became an artist. She married Albert L. Comiskey in Culver City, California in February 1948. A marriage notice published at that time indicates that she worked for the Philip Meany Advertising Agency. Jean Page
Jean Page was an early participant in the Mesa County Oral History Project, which began in 1975. She transcribed several interviews of early Grand Valley residents, and also interviewed residents. In 1992, she published the book From Hoof to Wheel, a book that told many of the stories that she gleaned from interviews. Though she grew up on Mesa County, Colorado, she spent some of her high school years near Las Vegas while her father was an engineer working on the Hoover Dam.
