Born Jan 5 1916. Native to Lafayette.
Lived on hill North of cemetery. Father came here from England when he was 21. He was a coal miner but then sharecropped. Ken mined in the Evens in Evansville for only one year then took a job with the Forest Service. Graduated school in 1934. Married in the Spring of 1938 to Carolyn. One daughter.
