She met Gilbert Gordon while working in the Gordon Store that he managed in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She married him and moved with him across Colorado. She also worked as a salesperson in Gordon Stores, the department store chain owned by her husband. She was active in Grand Junction, Colorado’s Jewish community.
