Paul Brian "Paulie" Anderson
-
Paul “Paulie” Brian Anderson is a Colorado native who spent the better part of his formative years in the Yampa Valley, exploring the backcountry, foraging for mushrooms and berries, prospecting for gold, 4-wheeling, hiking, split boarding little known runs in the Flattops and Gore range, writing poetry, playing bass and screeching vocals for a few heavy metal bands, and most importantly, founding two long(ish) running publications, The Local 2001-2009, and Valley Voice 2012-2023. He currently resides with the love of his life in the one of the last undiscovered hamlets of the Western Slope where he farms, builds businesses, consults for restaurants, enjoys writing run-on sentences, and plays in the backcountry as often as possible.
