125th Anniversary: Mesa County Libraries Patron Memories
Description
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Mesa County Libraries as an institution, MCL patrons and staff talk about their memories of coming to the library. They speak about coming to storytime as children, the thrill of getting their own library card, and the joy of discovering library services. They discuss the library’s history and the role of community in creating the first library in Grand Junction. They relate the importance of libraries in creating strong communities, preservation of community history, and as a place where citizens can learn to think for themselves.
