C.D. Smith Drugstore (first location), Grand Junction, Colorado Main and Fifth Streets Grand Junction Mesa Colorado USA The first location of the C.D. Smith Drug Company was at the corner of 5th and Main Streets, an intersection referred to by C.D. Smith as “the principal corner in the town.” The business was apparently a traditional drugstore and sold things like candy and beverages as well as pharmaceutical drugs. The company built a new building in 1910, when it became a wholesale drug supplier. It housed drugs and laboratories on the top floor and other items for sale on the bottom floor.
