Crawford. The second school was built in 1918, and still stands, at 552 West Main Street. Prior to that time, a first Riverside School was located at 502 West Colorado Avenue, with another school called the Bryant School nearby. Both of the older schools closed upon the opening of the new Riverside. The school was used as an elementary school until 1970, when Scenic Elementary School opened in the Redlands. It housed special education students between 1970-1982, and then closed for several years before being reopened as part of the DIA dual emersion elementary school in the 2000’s. yes yes
