<marmot:placeNotes>In 1895, progress began on a second Palisade School, which had been located previously at Main and Second Streets. The new school was located near the corner of Kluge Avenue and Fourth Street, near the railroad tracks and the packing sheds. A one room school house was completed in 1895, and the rest of the school completed by 1900. The school was administered by Palisade School District 19, which formed in 1893.

The school was enlarged in 1905 to serve grade and high school students. In 1910, Palisade's growing population made a larger building necessary, and the school was replaced by a third Palisade School building.

According to Anne (Reese) Stokes, who attended school there until it was closed, the building later became the Jordan Apartments.
