Civilian Conservation Corps camp, Fruita, Colorado Fruita Mesa Colorado USA A CCC camp located near the Fruita entrance to the Colorado National Monument. They assisted in road building and water diversion on the Monument. Along with the men in the CCC camp on top of the Monument and local men employed by the CCC, they constructed Rim Rock Drive over the Monument. This project and the camp were under the command of National Park Service engineer Thomas Secrest and Marshall "Mike" Douglass. yes yes
