It was run by the Campbells. Mr. Campbell had been a fruit picker in Palisade, but fell off of a ladder and broke his jaw. It never healed correctly and according to oral history interviewee Glenn McFall, he could speak but looked peculiar. He cooked while his wife worked the front of the restaurant. yes yes
