Community Park School, Moffat County, Colorado Moffat Colorado USA It was a rural school located at the confluence of the Snake and Yampa Rivers. According to Esther (Anderson) Campbell, who taught there beginning in 1928, most students were taught the same geography and history lessons, but reading and arithmetic were leveled by grade. Students learned and sang songs in accordance with the seasons. The school did have some discipline problems. Once, boys tore down the school’s outhouse.
