<marmot:placeNotes>An opera house in Delta, Colorado. It was built by Frank Sanders and Ray Simpson and open at least by 1908. According to oral history interviewee Eda Musser, the owners named the opera house for their two daughters. The opera house was located on the second floor of a brick building. A hardware store occupied the first story. Thomas Kearns, among others, produced plays and theatrical presentations there. According to Colorado Magazine, the establishment had primitive amenities including, “a stage, two dressing rooms, foot-lights consisting of a tin trough holding oil lamps fitted with Rochester burners, and tin reflectors.”
