Loma Mercantile, Loma, Colorado Loma Mesa Colorado USA A store that operated in Loma, Colorado in the early Twentieth century. According to oral history interviewee John Brach, it was founded by D.B. Bird, then run by Fay Durham and Earl Murphy. According to Cecil Harper, it was butcher David Brumbaugh that purchased the business from the Bird family and changed the name to Brumbaugh Mercantile.
