<marmot:placeNotes>A drive-in movie theater in Grand Junction established by Cordelia and Loyd Files in 1947. The theater located at approximately 2401 North Avenue, east of what later became the VA Hospital. It was the first drive-in theater in town and the first one between Denver and Salt Lake City.

US Census records and the oral history of Cordelia Files show that the entire Files family worked there. Files states that it closed around 1957, prior to the construction of the Teller Arms shopping center, which was also a Files family business venture, and Loyd Files says that the family operated the business for nine years. The theater was moved by its new owners to 23 Road. The website Cinema Treasures establishes the address as 686 23 Road.</marmot:placeNotes>
