Mount Garfield School, Clifton, Colorado [1900] Mesa Colorado USA A school that was located at 33 ¾ Road in Clifton, Colorado in the early Twentieth century, and perhaps before. It was open by at least 1913, when Thomas Campbell began attending the school. It appears to have been a 1-8 school. According to Campbell, Mary Martin, the daughter of J.M.P. Martin, a Methodist minister who lived on 7th Street and North Avenue in Grand Junction, was a teacher at the school. The Mount Garfield School closed many years before the construction of Mt.
