Created in 2018 by Lawrence Weiner, the narrative phrase "To the Extent of How Deep the Valley Is at Some Given Time" is found on the Vail Village Parking Structure western exterior facade. This area is an informal measuring space for snow depth. The metal lettering has a blue pantone 299 finish. This is one of the seven works of art donated by Vicki and Kent Logan to the public art collection of the Town of Vail.
