This image has captured the load test for one of the new five lifts, constructed in 1972 for the Telluride Ski Resort. The man in the background, facing the camera is Al Bridges and the one on the far right is Mike (Chongo) Muer who was one of the first patrolmen. This picture was taken just before the ski resort opened in late December of 1972.
